"Repair took a little while, but it worked out"
I had to send my camera in for a repair, and it did take a bit longer than I hoped. I’ll be honest, I’m usually skeptical when dealing with customer service because it feels like you never really know if anything is actually being handled. But in the end, they fixed the camera and it’s working fine now, so I can’t complain too much.

"Not a lot to choose from"
I went on jessops.com to look for a new camera bag and maybe a lens, but the selection was disappointing. A lot of stuff seemed to be missing, and for some things there were only a couple of options. I ended up feeling like I’d have to check other sites just to compare properly, which was a bit annoying. I expected more from Jessops, to be honest

"Refund took longer than I expected"
The refund did come through, but it took longer than I personally thought it would. I was expecting it to be a bit quicker, so the wait was a little frustrating, but it was eventually resolved

"Payment options were a bit disappointing"
I was all set to buy a camera bag from Jessops, but the payment stage ended up being more frustrating than I expected.

I thought there’d be a few more options, like PayPal or a more flexible pay later choice, but it felt limited. The checkout also seemed to keep nudging me toward one payment route, and my card failed once without really explaining why.

Anyway, the site itself was fine and the prices weren’t bad, but the payment options made the whole thing feel like too much hassle. I gave up in the end and bought the bag somewhere else...

"Decent prints, but the colours felt a bit off"
I ordered a few photo prints from Jessops and the whole delivery side of things was perfectly fine. What I noticed, though, was a bit of a pattern across the prints, the colours all seemed slightly duller than the files I sent over, not just one or two of them. The paper quality was decent enough, so it wasn’t a total disappointment, but I did expect the finished prints to have a bit more life to them. Not awful, just not quite as good as I’d hoped

"Order confirmed, then I was left guessing"
I got my order confirmation from Jessops and thought everything was sorted, as you would, right? But after that there wasn’t much to go on. No proper updates, nothing that really explained what was happening, so I ended up having to keep checking myself.
For an online order, it just felt slower and messier than it needed to be. Customer service replied, but it was mostly basic stuff and didn’t really clear anything up. Maybe I’m expecting too much, but I don’t think I’d use jessops.com again after this.

"Got there in the end, but checkout was a bit fiddly"
I was placing an order with Jessops and everything started off normally. I found what I wanted, added it to my basket, and thought I’d be checked out in a couple of minutes. Then the basket seemed to update in a slightly weird way, which threw me off, so I ended up going back to double-check the delivery option just to make sure nothing had changed. The checkout felt a bit slow and not the clearest to follow, but once I got to payment, that part went through without any trouble. The confirmation email came through quickly too. Overall, it was okay in the end, just a bit clunkier than I expected

"Pretty disappointing in-store experience"
I went in to ask about a camera lens and didn’t feel like anyone really wanted to help me. The answers I got were super short, super short, and then I was left standing around while the staff chatted with each other. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, who knows, but it definitely put me off buying there

"Stock info was wrong"
I ordered a camera from Jessops because the website said it was in stock and ready for delivery. I went through the whole checkout, paid, got the confirmation email, and thought it was all sorted. Then the next day they emailed to say it was actually out of stock.

it was frustrating because there were already too many steps just to get the order placed, only to find out the stock info wasn’t right anyway. I could’ve bought it somewhere else if I’d known. I wouldn’t fully trust the website stock if you need something quickly...

"Why Is Delivery This Complicated?"
I’m still waiting for my order after a full week. It feels like such a simple thing, just deliver the package, but somehow it’s turned into a hassle. Really frustrating.

They were helpful enough, but the advice felt a little all over the place. One minute I thought I understood, the next I was back in the fog. Not terrible by any means, just not as clear as I was hoping for.

"Showed up right on schedule"
No complaints here. The delivery came when they said it would, which I always appreciate because I hate waiting around all day pretending I’m not checking the window every ten minutes. Funny enough, I was in the middle of making coffee when it arrived, so the timing worked out perfectly. Everything went smoothly.

I ordered from jessops.com and couldn’t believe the state the box arrived in?! It was all dented, and there was barely any padding inside to protect the camera gear. For something this fragile, I really expected it to be packed much better. Thankfully it still works, but it definitely didn’t feel safe in transit. Disappointing.

I mean, the pages kept freezing on me, and it got really annoying fast. I was just trying to get through the site, but yeah, it felt way more frustrating than it should’ve.

"Complaint handled really badly!!!"
I raised a complaint after my order went wrong, and honestly... the response was so disappointing!! It just felt like a copy-and-paste reply, with no proper answer and barely any real apology. I even had to chase them again, which made the whole thing even more frustrating!!! It really seemed like they just wanted me to go away rather than actually sort it out. I won’t be using Jessops again...

"Fair prices and a reliable place to buy"
I recently bought a camera lens from Jessops after doing the usual comparison rounds online. The price was reasonably competitive, and more importantly, they actually had it in stock, which made the decision a lot easier.
It wasn’t the absolute lowest price I came across, to be fair, but it was close enough. I also felt more comfortable ordering from a well-known retailer rather than taking a chance on some random website I’d never used before.

Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely consider using Jessops again if the price works out. I’m giving 4 stars because the deals are decent, but the discounts could sometimes be a little better.

I sent it back and the whole return process was simple. My refund came through after a few days, so no real Complaints there.

"Warranty stuff got sorted in the end"
Had a bit of a faff with a warranty issue and there was some waiting around... but Jessops did help me get it sorted in the end, so yeah fair enough
